Our Story

Over 40 years ago, we set out to create the best button-down shirts for women. Using our advanced wrinkle-free fabric technology and shirt-making expertise, we designed a shirt to fit women in every shape and size. We tested simply by asking “yes” or “no.” If impressed, we made it. If no, we added signature details that make every Foxcroft shirt stand out. With precise tailoring and an impeccable silhouette, our shirts are polished from the inside out — and that has not changed.Today, we offer a full range of easy-care fashion designed in New York City. Our customer is always on the go — whether hosting friends, traveling with family or working — and we help her stay comfortable and polished through it all.

Our pieces are washable at home and come out of the dryer wrinkle-free, with no ironing or dry cleaning required. In fact, most of our items look their best when dried in the dryer. Pinpoint Oxford

Our Pinpoint Oxford is crafted from finer yarns than traditional Oxford cloth, commonly seen in classic menswear. The result is a lighter-weight fabric that maintains the signature texture and crispness of Oxford. It offers a slightly more substantial feel — thicker and more opaque than our other fabrics.

WHY WE LOVE IT

Made from pure cotton, this fabric adds that classic shirting-cloth look to your wardrobe. It holds its shape and doesn’t cling while you wear it.

Stretch Matte Sateen

Stretch Matte Sateen is our latest fabric innovation. Offering the greatest stretch of all our fabrics, it offers enhanced opacity compared to our classic Stretch Cotton. While woven in a sateen style, its luster is understated, giving it a mostly matte appearance.

Stretch Cotton

Our cotton-blend poplin is thoughtfully crafted to be lightweight, breathable and luxuriously smooth. By blending cotton with polyester yarn, we’ve created a fabric that offers exceptional durability, superior stretch and long-lasting shape retention — even through repeated wear.

Cotton Sateen

We crafted our ultra-soft cotton into a sateen weave, giving it a subtle sheen and an elegant drape that flatters effortlessly. It takes color beautifully, making it the perfect canvas for our signature vibrant prints. Lightweight and incredibly comfortable, it’s designed for all-day wear.

Knit Crepe

Our knit crepe is crafted to have a slightly textured outside to give visual interest, with a soft, smooth feel next to your skin. It has the stretchy comfort of a knit and a flattering drape that makes it a great fabric for multiple occasions.

Knit crepe is our favorite fabric for travel because it packs beautifully and is ready to wear straight out of our suitcase.

TENCEL® DENIM

Tencel® denim is denim crafted using Tencel® fibers, which make it super soft and more breathable than traditional denim, while maintaining the timeless look of denim.
